Solidarity Arts Fellowship reflection
“Through the fellowship, I have met so many incredible activists and healers that are from different generations -- showing that resilience and strength can live on through many people. Through various workshops and activities, I realized that solidarity cannot be learned alone. With the support of a loving community, the concept of solidarity became unclouded for me and I remain so grateful for my experience at the Solidarity Arts Fellowship.”
Object of resilience
“My object of resilience is a Buddha necklace that my mother gave to me as a gift, which I have kept for a number of years. I don't actively practice Buddhism, but I still feel a spiritual tie to this object. On days that I feel like I need some protection, when I feel more alone than usual, I put this necklace on and it instantly help me feel centered.”
